Sustainability and ethics are naturally woven into our way of working. Based in Somerset, England, each piece begins with Sia and is handcrafted alongside a small team of locally based artisan goldsmiths.
We believe in the value of slow craft — in taking time, working thoughtfully, and treating precious materials with care and respect. Rather than following the fast pace of seasonal trade shows, collections are allowed to evolve organically. Each piece is shaped by observation, experimentation and Sia’s evolving technical practice.
Using traditional techniques passed down through generations, we create jewellery designed to be worn daily, treasured over time, and passed on for years to come.
Our Precious Metals
We work closely with specialist refiners who create the precious metal alloys used throughout our collections, developing subtle variations in tone and purity across yellow, white and rose gold.
The gold we use is 100% certified recycled or Fairmined gold. Recycled gold is refined from existing precious metals — including reclaimed jewellery and industrial materials — reducing the need for newly mined resources.
Fairmined gold is sourced from certified artisanal and small-scale mining communities, ensuring responsible environmental practices, fair working conditions and direct social impact within those communities.
Our refining partners are members of organisations including the Responsible Jewellery Council and LBMA, and we continue to review and refine our practices as part of an ongoing commitment to responsible making.
Dust to Dot
Our studio works with a circular mindset — reusing, repairing and recycling wherever possible, with the aim of minimising waste and maximising longevity.
Offcuts are melted into tiny gold dots, archive pieces are reworked into new designs, and precious metal scraps are milled and rolled into new metal ready to be used again. Even the smallest fragments are valued as part of the making process.
All jewellery is handcrafted in limited quantities or made to order, avoiding overproduction and unnecessary waste. By producing everything within our own studios, we maintain close oversight of quality, craftsmanship and fair working practices for our small team.
For the Planet
We believe thoughtful design extends beyond the jewellery itself. Our packaging is created to be both protective and long-lasting — designed to be kept, reused and travelled with over time.
Our boxes are made from FSC-certified recycled materials, while our locally produced cotton pouches are intended for everyday storage and continued use beyond their original purpose.
We work with shipping partners who are actively improving the sustainability of their operations and prioritise recycled and recyclable packaging wherever possible.
Like all meaningful change, this is an ongoing process. We continue to learn, adapt and refine our practices over time, always seeking more thoughtful ways of working.
